Environmental Licensing
Environmental licensing is an administrative procedure in which the environmental agency responsible for the region where the activity or enterprise is located grants legal authorization for the location, installation, expansion of the activity or enterprise that uses natural resources. This legal authorization is called an environmental license.
The environmental license takes the form of a document provided by the competent environmental agency and includes conditions, restrictions, environmental control measures that must be fulfilled by the entrepreneur, individual or legal entity, to locate, install, expand and operate activities that use natural resources.
Preliminary assessment
The preliminary assessment is the first step in the management of contaminated areas. It is carried out based on a study of the area and its surroundings, taking into account available historical information and inspection of the place where the main objective is.The aim will be to find evidence, indications or facts that allow suspecting the existence of contamination in the area.
